Julie Dawson is a family owned company based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Julie Dawson grew up on her family's farm in the South Island of New Zealand where they have farmed the land for generations. As farmers they played a vital role in New Zealand farming by breeding pure-breed sheep for their wool. They were also actively involved in protecting rare animal breeds. This background, combined with Julie’s artisan skills, has led her to her highest accomplishment as a Fashion and Design Supreme Award Winner.
